Shed-and-a-Half Gallery is a large shed and a small shed on a rooftop in Shoreditch, London. It is a non-commercial, artist-run alternative art space in the centre of London’s eclectic East End art scene.

The gallery shows work on a monthly or bi-monthly basis by emerging and early-career contemporary artists who seek to integrate their practice into architectural space. Much of the work is site-responsive, navigating the gallery interiors as well as some of the more private spaces externally. With the imposing town hall in the background, the rooftop and its environs exist as a contextual backdrop to the work that is displayed, situating the work and gallery firmly in the modern urban environment
